Amapiano sensation Zeze Kingston and his Money Making Music Label on Saturday hosted For the Street Show at Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (Mubas) in Blantyre to provide a platform for emerging talent. The event, which featured other artists such as Leumas, Afana Ceez, Malinga, Shano Index, Nae Rae and Cactus, was a success, with attendees praising the initiative for showcasing fresh talent. The atmosphere was electric, the crowd buzzing and the stage was set ablaze right from the show’s kick-off at 12:30am.

Up-and-coming artist Cactus took to the stage, delivering a thrilling performance that set the tone for the rest of the night. The crowd went wild when Zeze Kingston made a surprise appearance, joining Cactus on stage. It was clear that it was going to be a night to remember! The energy in the room was palpable as Nae Rae, Shano Index and Afana Ceez took turns to mesmerise the audience with their unique sounds.



Afana Ceez, in particular, brought the house down with his hit songs such as Pakala Pakala and Karma. The crowd sang along, danced and waved their hands in the air, creating a sea of euphoria that swept across the venue. But the night’s biggest surprise came when crowd favourite Malinga made an unexpected appearance on stage, joining Afana Ceez to perform their hit collaboration Joker .

The audience erupted into cheers, screams and applause as he delivered his signature freestyles and hits such as Bill Yanga. It was a moment that will be etched in the memories of the attendees forever! Next, it was time for the main act, Zeze Kingston. The crowd went into frenzy, shouting his slogan “Zeze we wanna party!” He delivered an energetic and captivating performance, connecting with the audience and making the event an unforgettable experience.

Zeze Kingston said after the show: “I am thrilled to provide a platform for up-and-coming artists to showcase their talent. It is important to nurture the growth of new talent and I am committed to doing just that. “We are already gearing up for our next show at Malawi University of Science and Technology (Must) and I am excited to see what the future holds for these talented artists.

” One of the patrons, Chauncey Hollace, hailed the event. He said: “I was blown away by the talent on display. It is clear that Zeze Kingston is passionate about giving up-and-coming artists a chance to shine.

I am already looking forward to the next show.”.
