India cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and choreographer Dhanashree Verma reportedly got divorced on Thursday but neither has made any official announcement as of yet. Star India cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and his wife Dhanasharee Verma have reportedly finalised their divorce. As per several media reports, the pair completed the legal proceedings at Bandra Family Court on Thursday.
Chahal and Dhanashree were asked to attend a counselling session for around 45 minutes with the duo informing the judge they are seeking divorce due to ‘compatibility issues’. Reportedly, they were living separately for the past 18 months. Chahal, who has represented India in 72 ODIs and 80 T20Is, married choreographer Dhanashree in December 2020.
Amidst the reports of their divorce being finalised, both Chahal and Dhanashree have shared cryptic posts on their respective Instagram accounts. “God has protected me more times than I can count. So I can only imagine the times I’ve been rescued that I don’t even know about.
Thank you, God, for always being there, even when I don’t know it. Amen," read a post shared by Chahal. On the other hand, Dhanashree wrote, “From Stressed To Blessed.
