A popular YouTube star and internet influencer is in hot water for using a racial slur in a recent video. Yousef Saleh Eraka , better known as FouseyTube or Fousey, is a Palestinian-American content creator with 10.4 million subscribers on YouTube.

He is known for his comedy, vlog, interviews and prank videos. As well as an online career, Fousey has also recorded music and had a brief career as a professional boxer. He came under fire for rapping the n-word when performing a song by hip-hop star J.

Cole during a live stream on video platform Kick. Fousey appeared with fellow YouTuber, DuB, from Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, California, when they began discussing his music career. The influencer then decided to show off his rapping skills by performing J.

Cole's "Nobody's Perfect," which contains the n-word in the first verse. "Mama we made it, your son out in Barbados. Cheese, eggs and potatoes.

The broke [n-word]s that hated, the old hoes we dated. Look mama we made it, your son out in Barbados. Cheese, eggs, and potatoes," he rapped, as DuB put his hand up when Fousey said the racial slur, and the latter took it as a high-five gesture.

The portion of the video showing Fousey saying the word was shared across multiple X, formerly Twitter , accounts, including by @FearedBuck, where it had one million views at the time of writing. Fousey himself reposted the video to his own X account. "Fousey dropped the N-Word while rapping 😭," @FearedBuck captioned the post.

People shared their reactions in the replies of the post, including many who shared another of Fousey's live streams on Twitch from 2023 where he covered his mouth in shock when he accidentally rapped the n-word while singing along to another J.Cole song, "Love Yourz." He immediately apologized to his viewers watching the live stream.

"This ain't the first time," replied @yorboitom. "I'm not really surprised," wrote @frenchymeta. "last time he barely said it and he like freaked out.

.. this time it just slipped right off his tongue and he didn't even care 😭" commented @Mrdevid09.

Newsweek contacted Fousey's representatives by email for comment. Fousey is no stranger to controversy, including last year when he was suspended from Twitch for allegedly trying to take advantage of a drunk woman at an airport and his comments about the LGBTQ+ community. He denied wrongdoing and said the incident with the woman was a prank for the live stream.

Last year, Fousey who has bipolar disorder, was handcuffed by Miami police during a live stream. He had called 911, alleging someone was trying to hurt him with a gun and when police arrived to his hotel room, escorted him out in handcuffs. "Upon police arrival, contact was made with a male subject on scene at a hotel room and after a thorough investigation surrounding the subjects claims was conducted—officers transported the male to the hospital for a mental evaluation and documented the details," Miami PD's public information officer Michael Vega told Newsweek in a statement at the time.
