New Delhi, September 22: Google’s video streaming platform, YouTube is introducing a new Community section and ads on paused screens. These changes were revealed during the “Made on YouTube” event. The update also includes a redesigned channel page for the YouTube app on smart TVs.
YouTube users are expected to explore content more easily, and creators will have new ways to connect with their audience. As per a report of Business Standard , YouTube announced a few updates at its “Made on YouTube” event on September 18. One of the changes is the addition of a Community section for creators.
It will allow creators to interact more directly with their viewers. Additionally, the new pause screen ads will appear when users pause videos. The redesign of the YouTube app on smart TVs will likely make navigation simpler, along with features to support auto-dubbing for creators to expand their reach to global viewers.
