AGRA: Police have arrested a youth who orchestrated his wife's rape by his friend and then blackmailed her using the video of the sexual assault. The youth's friend who raped his wife has also been arrested. The incident took place in the Sita Nagar area in Agra.
The youth had demanded Rs 2 lakhs from his wife for not releasing the video. According to the woman, her husband used to come home only a few days every month. Two months ago, her husband came home with his friend.
He had brought food and some drinks from outside. After having dinner, the woman went to sleep with her son. The next morning, the youth asked his wife to give him Rs 5000 for some work.
She gave him the money and he went out. After some days, the youth called his wife on the phone and demanded Rs 2 lakh. He said that he would circulate her video if she refused to give him the money.
When the wife asked about the video, he sent it to her. The video showed the wife, who had been drugged with alcohol, being brutally raped by her husband's friend, under her husband's instruction. Although the woman pleaded that she had no money and asked her husband not to make the video viral, the husband did not relent.
Following this, she filed a complaint with the police. After investigating the case, the police arrested both the accused. It was found that the accused had sent the video to his wife's phone.
Police are investigating whether the accused had shared this video with any others..
