Youth killed over resistance during robbery in Karachi

KARACHI - A young man was killed in a firing incident that took place near Toba Masjid located in Defence area of Karachi, a private tv channel quoting police reported on Wednesday. According to details, dacoits opened firing and killed a young man who was trying to protect himself from looting that held near Toba Masjid located in Defence area of Karachi. The outlaws after committing crime escaped from the scene.

The police team rushed to the site and shifted the ill-fated person identified as Amir son of Sultan to hospital. Meanwhile, Additional IG Karachi, Javed Alam Odho, has taken strict notice of the murder of citizen Amir Sultan near Tooba Mosque in Defence. According to a police spokesperson, orders have been issued for immediate police action regarding this incident, which occurred due to firing by unknown armed assailants.



The Additional IG has required complete details of the incident from SSP South and instructed to present an immediate report. Furthermore, orders have been issued to take special measures for the swift arrest of the culprits. Special police teams are analysing CCTV footage of the incident to ensure the identification and arrest of the assailants.

Immediate actions are being taken to expedite the complete investigation process of the incident. The Karachi Police spokesperson has confirmed that investigations are progressing rapidly and efforts will soon be made to arrest the culprits..
