Youth charged with sexual assault in Brampton: Peel police

BRAMPTON — Peel police say they have charged a youth in relation to multiple reports of sexual assaults and incident acts in Brampton, Ont. Police say they received several complaints going back to December about a young male who was allegedly exposing himself and sexually assaulting women around Steeles Avenue and Financial Drive in Brampton. They say the youth used a motorized scooter to flee the area after committing the offences.

Police say on Thursday investigators located and arrested the accused in Sid Manser Park in Brampton while he was committing another incident act, and further investigation revealed he was also responsible for the previous incidents. They say the youth was charged with three counts of sexual assault and three counts of indecent acts. He was held for a bail hearing and appeared before the Ontario Court of Youth Justice in Brampton.
