Youth arrested for abducting and raping minor girl

The Sahakarnagar police on April 11 arrested a 24-year-old from Velha in Pune rural on the charge of abducting and raping a minor girl in 2023. The suspect was on the run after he was booked on Feb 25, 2023, but his whereabouts were unknown. A police team led by inspector Surekha Chavan arrested the suspect following a tip-off.
