One of Bolton Cadet Unit's shining stars has been invited to attend the esteemed Young Achievers Reception 2024 alongside other young people from the St John Ambulance organisation. The prestigious event, held this month, will be hosted by HRH the Princess Royal, Princess Anne —a highly honoured occasion within St John Ambulance. The annual reception celebrates the inspirational work of Cadets and Badgers who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to helping others in their communities.

HRH Princess Anne personally engages with dozens of young people from across the UK, hearing their stories of how their actions have made a positive difference locally. It is described as a unique and treasured opportunity for young people within the organisation. Ian Williams, Unit Manager of Bolton Cadet Unit , expressed his pride in Aaisha’s selection for the event: " This opportunity to meet the Princess Royal is a highly prestigious event, allowing our cadets to showcase their commitment and dedication to St John Ambulance.

Aaisha is a superstar asset to the unit—she’s done herself proud, and she’s made us proud as well. As Unit Manager, I am incredibly proud to lead such an outstanding group of young people.” Aaisha was nominated for this honour by both her peers and other members of the St John Ambulance organisation.

The Young Achievers Reception is designed to recognise the exceptional young people from across St John’s youth programmes whose actions or behaviour have been particularly outstanding. Ian Williams further added: " Our Young Achievers Reception shines a spotlight on the best of St John’s young people, and Aaisha is a perfect example of this. She embodies everything we strive for, both within our unit and in the community.

I couldn't be prouder of her achievements." The event provides an inspiring platform for youth like Aaisha, who have made a difference through their dedication and service. The Bolton Cadet Unit takes great pride in her accomplishments and looks forward to seeing her represent the unit at this prestigious reception.

Aaisha’s recognition is a reflection of her hard work and commitment to both the organisation and her community, and it serves as a source of inspiration for other young people to follow her lead..
