Always wanted to live close to one of the wealthiest persons on the planet, specifically amid a vacant waterfront parcel of land in South Florida that comes with the chance to build a brand-new mansion? Well, you might be in luck with this Miami-area offering. But you’ll need some extra-deep pockets to pick up the property on the exclusive guard-gated Indian Creek Island known as Billionaire Bunker, because it just popped up for sale at a jaw-dropping $200 million. Since 2023, the superrich Amazon founder has spent a combined total of around $234 million buying up three waterfront estates on the island, most recently a roughly $90 million mansion that he plans to live in while work is being done on the two other side-by-side properties he previously purchased.
The empty plot that just hit the market at 9 Indian Creek Island Road is next door to these latter two properties and includes 200 feet of frontage on Biscayne Bay, plus plenty of room to build a deep-water dock to accommodate a yacht up to 180 feet. As first reported by the New York Post , the not-even-two-acre patch of land on offer was last sold back in 2018 for $27.5 million to unidentified owners who had planned to build a new residence but ultimately changed their minds and decided to sell .
.. at a massive profit.
Per the listing , which is held by Ilya Reznik of the Reznik Group, a “conceptual design-build plan” for a 25,000-square-foot estate by Manny Angelo Varas of MV Group is also available. Connected to the mainland via a bridge, the man-made barrier island spans 300 acres and features a golf course and a country club. Other prominent folks who reside within the community include Tom Brady, Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump, investor Carl Icahn, and French DJ David Guetta.
The lot at 9 Indian Creek Island Road is among the most expensive properties currently for sale in the U.S., behind only an even larger waterfront compound in Florida, in the Port Royal neighborhood of Naples, with three houses and a private yacht basin that was listed earlier this year for $295 million.
