York business owner opens café in North Yorkshire town

Stephen Quinn, the owner of Sandwitches in York, has opened Mr Quinn's Café and Bar in Selby.

A York business owner has opened a new café in a North Yorkshire town. Mr Quinn’s Café Bar in New Lane, Selby, is a sister business to the popular York café Sandwitches. Owned by Stephen Quinn, Mr Quinn’s serves a range of traditional breakfast and lunchtime dishes – with a restaurant menu in the evenings.

On Sunday’s, the café bar will serve a tasty and traditional carvery. Stephen said: “This is a great space for our new café bar and a really good location in the town. We want to make Mr Quinn’s a really warm and welcoming family friendly place and we are delighted to be opening our doors to serve our traditional and wholesome food to our new customers here in Selby.



” It boasts a traditional juke box and retro music inspired wall art – the team behind the new venture officially opened Mr Quinn’s Café Bar on Monday, April 7. Neighbouring Market Cross Shopping Centre in the former Henry’s restaurant, the café bar is dog friendly and dementia friendly and a new children’s play area is also being created. Initial opening hours will be Monday to Wednesday 9am-3pm and Thursday to Saturday 9am-midnight, Sunday 11.
