It’s also not a one-off. It’s part of a new effort by Catalyst called the Continuum Series. The next offering will be called Rockets & Rayguns, and will “capture that classic, retrofuturistic style,” according to a news release.
Perched on an out-of-the-way upper shelf at the Catalyst booth was a collection of the new grey plastic miniatures, some of which had been painted up for display. According to the same news release, the boxed set will include nine new sculpts in total. They include the UrbanMech, Firestarter, Scorpion, Phoenix Hawk, Rifleman, Marauder, King Crab, and a multi-part Atlas with multiple options for the head and other features.
Each one is bedazzled with ornate finials and bits of heraldry. The price was also printed right on the back of the box — $99.Catalyst has released a trailer on YouTube, which we’ve embedded below.
