The city of Jinju, Gyeongnam announced on the 27th that the ‘Jin-Yangho Park Snow Flower Festival’ will be held at Jin-Yangho Park in Panmun-dong on December 7. The festival is designed to offer a variety of programs for families to enjoy together, marking a special time to welcome the start of winter. The 'Snow Flower Festival' at Jin-Yangho is a free event open to everyone without prior registration.
Various cultural performances and experience activities have been prepared to provide an enjoyable experience for family visitors. Highlights of the festival include outdoor classical performances, Christmas carols, parades featuring Santa Claus character dolls, and band performances. These events will take place throughout the park, enhancing the festive atmosphere for all visitors.
Additionally, the festival will feature large Christmas trees and snow-covered grassy areas, creating several photo zones for attendees to capture beautiful moments of the winter scenery and Christmas spirit. For families, there will be fun activities such as decorating Christmas tree-shaped cupcakes, making vehicle air fresheners from plaster, and caricature or portrait drawings by street artists. Visitors can also enjoy classic winter snacks such as roasted chestnuts, sweet potatoes, and fish-shaped bread (bungeoppang), satisfying their winter cravings.
