The Yellowjackets Season 3 finale reveals the Pit Girl, crowns the Antler Queen, and delivers its bloodiest twist yet.

The final episode of Yellowjackets Season 3 doesn’t just end a chapter. Titled Full Circle, the season finale delivers long-awaited answers, heartbreaking deaths, and a major reveal about the mysterious Pit Girl. Since the very first episode, fans have been wondering about the identity of the girl who fell into the spiked pit.

That mystery is finally solved: it’s Mari. Yes, the same Mari who clashed with others all season. Mid-hunt, she ditches her colorful clothes for a nightgown, matching the girl seen in the series’ haunting opening sequence — and falls straight into the trap Coach Scott found and Travis later rigged with deadly spikes.

The final moments confirm it’s Van who discovers Mari’s broken body. Contrary to what some may have thought, Van isn’t happy. She’s crushed.

“This is our fault,” she says to Taissa through tears. But Mari wasn’t the only casualty. This season also marked the end for Coach Scott, adult Lottie, adult Van, and mysterious figures Edwin and Kodiak.

Only Lottie’s death remained a question, until now. The finale finally reveals who pushed her down the stairs, adding another piece to the growing puzzle. Back in the present, Shauna’s transformation is complete.

She officially takes the role of the Antler Queen, a figure long teased since Season 1. While the group prepares their grisly “feast,” Shauna is adorned with Mari’s hair and crowned with the antler headdress. Adult Shauna reflects on this moment in a haunting voiceover: “I think we can’t or won’t remember it clearly because we recognize deep down that we were having so much fun.

.. Not a wife or a mother.

I was a warrior. I was a f**king queen.” Teen Shauna actress Sophie Nélisse told Business Insider that the reveal didn’t surprise her.

“After seeing how Shauna took over the leadership from Nat, it made sense,” she said. Meanwhile, actress Alexa Barajas, who plays Mari, told Deadline she had a gut feeling her character would be the Pit Girl. “I think after watching the pilot, I said, ‘I think I look a whole lot like her.
