A three-night closure is looming on a main Nuneaton road. Coton Road is set to be out of bounds from Friday, May 2. The stretch of road, heading from the town centre towards the Coton Arches, will be closed from 8pm until 6am until Sunday, May 4.
Yellow signs have been placed around the area to warn drivers of the pending closure. Highways bosses say the closure is needed for 'structural patching'. This is unofficially known as pothole repairs and involves patching the damaged areas rather than the whole length of road.

Smorrall Lane in Bedworth is also set to have pothole repair works. It is listed on the county council's roadworks map, but no date has been set as yet..
