What the funk was this? Saturday night brought us not just Game 2 of the World Series between the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers, but a fantastic pregame performance from rapper Ice Cube that was a beautiful slap of nostalgia to the face. And it obviously did a good job of hyping up the Dodgers and LA crowd, with the boys in blue going on to get the 4-2 win to put them up 2-0 in the series. Well, the Yankees must have felt like they needed to respond with a hip hop act of their own, more specifically in the legendary rapper department, because who did they get for a musical performance to hype up New Yorkers? .. yeah, that guy.
