New Delhi: Yamaha has revealed the NMax 125 Tech Max, a premium version of its popular scooter, in global markets. This variant is based on the standard NMax 125 but comes with several upgraded features. While the NMax 125 is not yet available in India, Yamaha may showcase this premium model at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo.
The NMax 125 Tech Max is packed with new features. The scooter now includes a dual-LED projector headlight setup, a more refined ergonomic design, and increased underseat storage, which now holds 25 liters. Other notable additions are keyless ignition and a USB-C charging port.
One of the standout upgrades is the 4.2-inch TFT full-colour instrument cluster, which also has Garmin navigation. The scooter’s premium feel is enhanced by leather seating with gold stitching and two new color options: Ceramic Grey and Dark Magma.
Under the updated design, the NMax 125 Tech Max continues to use the same 125cc liquid-cooled engine as the standard model, producing 12 bhp and 11.2 Nm of torque. It is paired with a CVT gearbox.
The scooter retains its 13-inch alloy wheels, front telescopic forks, rear monoshock suspension, and 230mm disc brakes with ABS at both ends. Though the NMax 125 is not yet available in India, Yamaha may bring it to the country in the future. If it is showcased at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo, the Tech Max variant’s advanced features and stylish design are expected to attract a lot of attention.
