Xiaomi will be launching its second electric car very soon and it will be the Xiaomi YU7. The company has already achieved success with its earlier electric car i.e.
Xiaomi SU7. According to reports, more than 1,00,000 units of the car are being delivered to users. The Xiaomi YU7 will be an SUV.
The official images of the car have been revealed by the CEO earlier this month. However, the actual images of the car has been out and that too without camouflage, reported arenaev. The YU7 was seen being tested on the streets of China and we can finally see how it looks in flesh and blood.
The car did have a sticker that mentioned that it was a test car. The car looks quite similar to the one that has been seen in the official pictures. It will not be wrong to tell that YU7 does have a resemblance to the Ferrari Purosangue.
The design of the Xiaomi YU7 is just like any other coupe SUV. It has a length of 4999mm and a width of 1996mm. The height of the SUV is 1600mm while the wheelbase is 3000mm.
There is a dual-motor version that develops 508kW (691hp) of maximum power. The maximum speed that can be achieved on the car is 253km/hr. In terms of pricing, the YU7 is expected to cost between CNY 300,000 (€36,900) and CNY 400,000 (€49,600).
The reports have claimed that the YU7 SUV will be launched in June or July. The entry level version of the car will also have large battery along with LiDAR. In terms of competition, the YU7 will rival the likes of Tesla’s Model Y.
