Xiaomi unveiled the SU7 Ultra as a prototype in July. Today, three months later, this high-performance electric sedan has officially launched in China, showcasing remarkable specifications. With an astounding 1,500 horsepower and an acceleration time of under 2 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h, the SU7 Ultra redefines performance standards in the electric vehicle sector, albeit at a premium price point.

These enhancements, combined with an active rear diffuser, result in a claimed downforce of 265 kilograms. The SU7 Ultra is fitted with 21-inch wheels shod in Pirelli P Zero 5 tires. Inside, the vehicle presents a harmonious blend of luxury and performance-focused details.

The seats are upholstered in Alcantara leather, which also adorns the steering wheel, door panels, and various other interior features. Additionally, Xiaomi incorporates carbon fiber into elements such as the doorstep panels, center tunnel components, and the rearview mirror. Powering the SU7 Ultra is a Qilin 2.

0 battery manufactured by CATL, boasting a capacity of 93.7 kWh. This battery is reported to deliver a maximum discharge power of 1,330 kW and supports an impressive 5.

2C DC fast-charging rate, allowing for a 10-80% charge in merely 11 minutes. The battery powers three electric motors—two V8s and one V6—which collectively produce 1,138 kW (1,526 hp) and a peak torque of 1,770 Nm. This configuration enables the SU7 Ultra to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.

Xiaomi has outfitted the SU7 Ultra with the largest carbon ceramic brake discs ever featured on a production vehicle, with front discs measuring 430 mm x 40 mm and rear discs slightly smaller at 410 mm x 32 mm.
