An accompanying image provides a clearer perspective on the fluctuations in sell-through volume for products from Xiaomi, Apple, and Samsung over the past three years. Xiaomi has successfully maintained a steady increase in its sell-through volume throughout the period, reclaiming the second position in the market.

In contrast, Apple presents a more limited selection of products, which may account for the variations in its sell-through volume over the years. Furthermore, the iPhone 16 series has faced challenges in generating substantial consumer interest, with recent analyses indicating that it may fall short of the sales numbers achieved by last year's models. Nevertheless, Xiaomi has emerged as one of the fastest-growing smartphone brands in 2024, playing a significant role in the recovery of the global smartphone market.

The report indicates that seasonal declines in key markets for Xiaomi were counterbalanced by growth driven by promotions in Latin America. Research Director Tarun Pathak noted, “This year, Xiaomi has implemented a more streamlined product strategy, concentrating on developing a flagship model for each price category instead of introducing multiple devices within a single segment. Additionally, the company has revitalized its sales and marketing efforts while continuing to expand into new markets and strengthen its presence in existing ones.

While entry-to-mid-tier devices remain strong performers for Xiaomi, the brand has also made strides in the premium segment with its foldable and 'ultra' devices.” This is the first time the brand has reached this position since August 2021, despite sales remaining flat month-on-month compared to Apple’s seasonal decline during the same period #Techinformer #Xiaomi #Apple pic.twitter.
