During the lengthy legal battle as Xbox planned a merger with Activision Blizzard, a document was released to the public featuring a number of unseen consoles . Some of these ideas have since been scrapped, or put on hold indefinitely.

One of these is the cloud gaming device, the Xbox Keystone , which head of Microsoft gaming’s Phil Spencer says couldn’t hit the right price point for production and sale. Most read in Gaming A new report by Windows Central , states that their sources believe a Xbox handheld will be released in the next few years. This would be Xbox’s first handheld gaming device, though gaming PCs that can play Microsoft games are already out there.

The handheld is reportedly in the works to ‘take on the Steam Deck’ after the portable PC has seen huge success.
