Jayden Forsythe had many options at the college level as a four-star small forward out of Norristown, Pennsylvania. With several offers to his name, he recently committed to head coach Sean Miller and the Xavier Musketeers, choosing them over Butler, George Mason, Mississippi State, Penn State, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest, among others. "I chose Xavier because the love the coaching staff shows me and the vibe of the team," Forsythe told 247Sports regarding his commitment.

"They have everything I need to become a better player and it's a good school in one of the best conferences in the country. I just wanted to be at that level, prepare myself for that level and be able to play as a freshman." In Forsythe, Xavier is getting one of the top small forwards in the 2025 class.

The 247Sports Composite ranks him as the No. 16 small forward nationally as well as the No. 1 overall recruit from the state of Pennsylvania.

He checks in at 6-foot-5, 190 pounds and he's known for his long ball. According to 247Sports, 75% of the shots Forsythe took in EYPL play came behind the three-point line, making 41% of them. That's the profile of a specialist sharp-shooter, and that sounds like exactly the player Xavier will be getting.

"I will be bringing a lot of energy in terms of being able to compete and a lot of people know me for my shooting so I will definitely be bringing that too," Forsythe explained..
