Image via WWE This week's edition of Monday Night RAW was a night of top in-ring action and a gruesome main event that saw a huge return. WWE presented the March 10th edition on Monday Night RAW on Netflix from the World's Most Famous Arena, Madison Square Garden in New York. The show saw the resurgence of a Tribal Chief, a huge confrontation set for next week, and a night of explosive in-ring action.
Jey Uso vs Grayson Waller This was the opening match for WWE RAW this week. The match goes back and forth but ends with a thunderous spear from Jey Uso to Grayson Waller to pick up the win. Waller and his partner, Austin Theory, try to attack him, but he manages to fend them off.
At that moment, Gunther comes out of nowhere to take out Uso with a sleeper hold. AJ Styles and Logan Paul segment Logan Paul comes out to the ring and berates the entire New York. He then turns his attention towards popular celebrity Andrew Schulz who is sitting in the audience.
Schulz claims that he is not here to see Logan Paul but the Steel Cage main event and AJ Styles. Paul drags him from the crowd and in the ring. This leads to AJ Styles coming down to the ring for the save as Logan Paul retreats.
Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee vs. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods The match was an exciting tag team showdown and the action spilled all over ringside. Both teams put up an excellent performance with a twist coming at the end.
As both sides are fighting outside the ring, a masked luchador wearing an American mask attacks Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee and then runs back into the audience as security tries to get hold of him. The chaos led to Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods hitting a double-team move on Rey Mysterio to score the win. Cody Rhodes segment Cody Rhodes makes an appearance on RAW.
He addresses his WrestleMania 41 opponent John Cena and claimed that Cena was not present tonight but will return to RAW next week. He berates Cena for turning his back on the fans and says that his fantasy of winning a 17th World Championship will remain a fantasy. Rhodes ends the segment by saying that he will defeat Cena at WrestleMania and that he is the captain now.
Bayley vs. Raquel Rodriguez This match was to determine the next No.1 contender for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
Bayley held her own against the dominant Raquel Rodriguez, who also had Liv Morgan in her corner. The numbers game caught up to Bayley as Morgan made multiple interferences. This led to Raquel tossing her on the announcer's desk.
She then followed it up with a big boot and the Texana Bomb to score the pinfall. Segment with Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair and IYO Sky Michael Cole introduces IYO Sky to the ring. He congratulated IYO for her WWE Women's World title win last week on RAW and then introduced her opponent for WrestleMania 41, Bianca Belair.
As he conducted the interview, they were interrupted by Rhea Ripley, who was agitated from her title loss. Ripley and Belair got into a heated argument, and both showed disrespect to IYO Sky. This led to IYO slapping both women and exiting the ring.
Seth Rollins vs CM Punk This was the main event of the night, and it took place inside a Steel Cage match. The heated rivals, CM Punk and Seth Rollins, engaged in a gruesome match and delivered one of the best matches in recent memory inside the cage. Both men used the cage to inflict maximum damage on each other.
The ending of the match saw the shocking return of Roman Reigns, who pulled Rollins out of the cage and decimated him on the outside. As he is exiting, Reigns sees his Wiseman, Paul Heyman, helping out CM Punk in the ring. This agitated Reigns, who entered the ring and took him down as well, standing tall to end RAW.
