Going head-to-head on Wednesday night, WWE NXT beat out AEW Dynamite in both total viewership and the 18-49 demo rating. – Tuesday night’s episode of WWE NXT averaged 619,000 viewers on The CW, up 5.3 percent from last week.

The show, which did not air on its usual night this week due to coverage of the presidential election, was a special episode from the former ECW Arena in Philadelphia. This was the second-lowest audience total NXT has done since moving to The CW. NXT drew a 0.



17 rating in the 18-49 demo. That’s up 21.4 percent from last week and is the best rating the show has drawn in that category since October 15.

– Dynamite, in its regular time slot, averaged 523,000 viewers on TBS. That’s down 16.7 percent from last week and is the fourth-lowest audience total in the history of the show.

Dynamite finished sixth on the prime-time cable charts with a 0.16 rating in the 18-49 demo, down 15.8 percent from last week.

It ties the second-lowest rating in the history of the show and also ties the lowest rating that Dynamite has ever done in its regular time slot. Both shows aired head-to-head with an NBA game on ESPN featuring the Boston Celtics and Golden State Warriors that drew a larger-than-usual audience, topping the cable charts with 2.14 million viewers and a 0.
