WSSC launches cleanliness operation for Eid

DERA ISMAIL KHAN - The Water and Sanitation Services Company (WSSC), Dera Ismail Khan, has launched a cleanliness drive to maintain a healthy and pleasant environment during Eid-ul-Fitr. According to the district administration, the campaign will include a number of cleanliness-related activities, such as sprinkling water, mechanical sweeping, and the use of mechanical brooms, to mark the occasion of Eid. The drive will continue throughout Eid-ul-Fitr, with field staff actively engaged in cleaning main public places, roads, and the areas outside places of worship.

It will also focus on cleaning the riverbanks, which are often popular picnic spots during Eid. Additionally, all parks and monuments will undergo thorough cleaning to enhance the festive ambiance. Residents have also been urged to cooperate by disposing of garbage at designated places.
