French Youtuber Victor Blaho shared his recent Indian railways travelogue entitled ‘DO NOT Attempt a 46H Train Journey in India—It BROKE ME!’ The content creator runs the ‘Same Same but Different’ channel, where he has been documenting his India sojourn. In the last leg of his journey, Blaho undertook an excruciating 46-hour journey on the Indian railway to showcase the plight of tourists and fellow travelers who regularly commute on the train. But before arriving at the railway station, the YouTuber grabbed an Uber bike in Varanasi.
He shared the experience, stating, “ As a tourist, you get scammed all the time. Good thing they have Uber. 50 rupees for a 30-minute ride .
” While breezing through the chaos of the city traffic, he quipped, “ It’s been three weeks. I wanna go home. It’s too much noise, brother.
It’s too crazy. And they are honking for no reason. ” He further added, If you wanna go for a relaxing vacation,.
Don’t come to India. India is stressful. There is no rush hour.
It is always rush hour. Always busy.” The YouTuber undertook 3 specific journeys—a 27-hour ride from Mumbai to Varanasi, a 15-hour journey from Varanasi to Agra, and a 4-hour trip from Agra to Delhi.
In his vlog he remarked, “ The largest in the world, the Indian railway carries 8 billion passengers annually across the length and breadth of the country. It’s chaotic, vibrant, and deeply woven into Indian culture .” He journeyed from basic to the luxury class in his extensive 46-hour travel via train.
The content creator documented a rat on the platform that reminded him of getting bitten by a bigger rodent a few weeks back in India. In one of the train he shared his experience The worst thing with trains in India is how noisy they get here.” “ No water in the toilet ,” the horrible experience continued.
Lucky for him, the internet was alive. The YouTuber stated that he watched YouTube and Netflix so as not to rawdogging the whole journey. Despite the cumbersome travel, he remarked, “ Traveling by train is much better than sleeper buses.
” After encountering rats, roaches, and snoring peeps, he quipped, “ Between the mice, the bugs, the people talking loudly, people walking back and forth, I am not sleeping here tonight.” During the extensive journey, he added, "it’s been three weeks in India. I want to go home now.
.. I need peace; I need quiet; I need a clean bed .
" The French YouTuber further reiterated, " No, I don’t enjoy suffering—learn from my mistakes: if you’ve got the budget, book the highest class possible." I suffer to to show you what it is don't do it don't do it if you have the money Reactions poured in, with netizens relating hard with the French YouTuber. One user remarked, “I went to India for a work trip (Delhi), came back grateful for where I live and with so much trauma.
It’s indeed fucking crazy (like negative crazy ) .” Another user implored, “ As a South Indian, I can assure you that it's calmer and less stressful here .” The user further requested the YouTuber to travel to South India and experience “ a real holiday .
