New Delhi: The world order is rapidly changing, and countries like India and China have points of view that might create friction with the Western nations, said External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar at a summit hosted by a news network in New Delhi on Monday. Responding to a question on the hostile stand of Trudeau's government against India, the Foreign Minister emphasised the larger geopolitical picture concerning the recent controversies. "I think there is there is a general Western issue, and to some extent, a very specific Canada issue," Jaishankar said, adding that the world order, which was heavily Western after 1945, has started to change in the last 20-25 years.

"What has happened in the last 20-25 years is that there is a rebalancing, a multipolarity. Many non-Western countries have a bigger share, a bigger contribution, a bigger role and a bigger influence which will naturally come," EAM said while speaking at a summit hosted by the NDTV. Big Countries Like India, China Have POVs Foreign Minister Jaishankar said that the equations between the West and the non-West countries are rapidly changing, and it is not easy for the West to adjust to them.

The independent views and positions taken by large countries like India and China might give birth to arguments and frictions with the West, he added. "So the equations in a way between the West and the non-West is changing, and it's not easy to adjust to that..

.Today, when the natural diversity of the world has started to express itself when many more large countries like India or China have points of view and positions to take, there will be contestations, there will be frictions, there will be arguments, so it won't be so smooth. That's a larger picture," EAM said.

While Canada has linked the murder to the agents of the Indian government, including the top diplomats, India has strongly rejected the claims, terming them as "baseless" and "politically motivated"..
