A match for the Women’s World title is on. During tonight’s Raw, it was announced that IYO SKY will face Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Championship. This will take place in three weeks in Buffalo, New York on the episode of Raw following the Elimination Chamber premium live event in Toronto, Canada.
In recent weeks, IYO SKY has been letting Ripley know that she is coming for not only her, but for her Women’s World title. Prior to her Elimination Chamber qualifying match last week, SKY was attacked by her opponent Liv Morgan while Ripley was attacked by Raquel Rodriguez as she was checking in on SKY. Morgan ended up winning their qualifying match by disqualification after Ripley came down and attacked both Rodriguez and Morgan, accidentally putting Morgan into the Elimination Chamber match.
On this week’s Raw, SKY and the returning Dakota Kai defeated Morgan & Rodriguez in a tag team match. Later, in a backstage segment, Ripley informed SKY that the title match was on..
