Get cosy this autumn with a deliciously warming dish. As the chill of autumn sets in, it's time to swap out the light bites for something more substantial. Say farewell to the summer salads and embrace the season of stews, soups and hearty roasts.

With the need for warming, soul-soothing meals on the rise, nobody fancies spending hours in the kitchen after a long day at work. But fear not, as this quick and easy recipe shared by a woman named Chloe on TikTok will have you whipping up a "gorgeous" autumnal treat without the fuss. This one-pot wonder transforms the traditional lasagne into a comforting soup, perfect for those seeking a hassle-free yet delicious meal.

Plus, it's ideal for single households or meal-prepping enthusiasts – cook once, freeze the leftovers, and enjoy a homemade feast any day of the week. Chloe's method is straightforward – start by heating olive oil in a pan, then sauté a diced white onion and two teaspoons of garlic until the onion softens. Next, brown 500g of mince seasoned with salt, pepper, and one teaspoon each of oregano and basil.

After the meat is cooked, stir in two tablespoons of tomato puree and a tin of chopped tomatoes. Finally, dissolve a beef stock cube and a vegetable stock cube in 500ml of boiling water and add it to the mix. Next up, she breaks lasagne sheets into small pieces, stirs them into a pan with other ingredients, and simmers the concoction for "approximately 10 minutes".

After adding 100ml of double cream, a generous helping of mozzarella and parmesan, and a garnish of fresh basil, Chloe serves up what she describes as one of her favourite "cosy" dishes. While some commenters argued the dish resembled a regular pasta more than a soup due to its thickness, Chloe explained other attempts have been "more runny" and she typically uses a bowl for serving. She also suggested in a comment: "You can leave this for longer than 10 mins if you fancy and top with ricotta if you're feeling extra.

And if you'd like it more soupy, add some more water to your stock." The innovative dish has sparked interest online, with many eager to try it out. One individual mentioned it would be ideal for their son on a no-chew diet post-surgery, while another dismissed the debate over its classification, saying: "Why do people care so much about whether it's soup? Looks like a gorgeous scran to me that's all that matters.

" A third commenter was already in the process of making it, excitedly noting: "I'm making this right now for dinner, it smells incredible!".
