MUMBAI: A surprising turn has emerged in the arrest of film director Sanoj Mishra, who was accused of rape. The woman who filed the complaint has now released a video stating that she was part of a conspiracy and has withdrawn her allegations. The video, posted on Sanoj Mishra's official Instagram page, reveals that producer Wasim Rizvi and four others allegedly manipulated her into filing a false case against Mishra.

The woman claims she faced harassment and threats when she attempted to retract her statement. In the video, she explains, "I was working with Sanoj Mishra. After the film's shooting, some people pressured me into filing a complaint.

Around the same time, Monalisa (from Mahakumbh fame) became viral with Sanoj Mishra giving her a role in film. People sent me fake photos and mentally tortured me, leading me to file the case. Later, I realized the truth and tried to withdraw the case, but I was threatened with jail.

" Initially, the woman alleged that she was exploited by Sanoj Mishra with promises of film roles. She claimed they met on social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram in 2020 while she lived in Jhansi. Their relationship began as a friendship, but things took a turn in June 2021 when she alleged that Mishra threatened her and took her to a resort where she was assaulted.
