Woman stabs husband to death in Narhe

Pune: The Sinhagad Road police arrested a 46-year-old homemaker for stabbing her husband (42) to death at their Manajinagar , Narhe residence late on Sunday night. According to police, the couple are natives of Nepal, and the deceased worked as a security guard at a housing society in Narhe. Police said that the security guard used to drink heavily and beat his wife often.

On Sunday night, there was a quarrel between them following which the wife picked up a knife and stabbed her husband to death. Meanwhile, a 35-year-old man was found bludgeoned to death on a footpath near a petrol pump at Thergaon on Monday morning. The Wakad police identified the deceased as Ali Ansari of Thergaon.
