McDonald's fans have slammed one customer for 'ruining' chicken nuggets with her bizarre method. Brits take their food seriously, and a cheeky McDonald's is clearly no exception. Whether you're an extra gherkins on your Big Mac kind of guy, or can't resist dunking your fries into milkshake - we all have those strange eating habits that might seem weird to others but secretly taste amazing.

However, when it comes to one of the fast-food chain's most popular order, chicken nuggets, it appears you really shouldn't mess with iconic dish - or risk sparking a fiery debate online. In fact, some say the 'hack' is so bad it has triggered their anger issues..

. Taking to TikTok , user Melek showed off what she describes as an 'Epic hack' but is actually just her removing all the batter from the chicken nugget. She begins by using a pair of scissors to cut around the crispy exterior, before physically peeling the rest of the seasoned coating from the meat with her hand.

Why? Nobody really knows. Melek's channel, which has garnered more than 10 million likes and thousands of followers, mainly consists of similar bizarre content which seems to infuriate viewers thus boosting its views - such as halving a McDonald's burger with a pair of scissors or cutting a circle into a slice of garlic bread for no reason. The rage bait worked, with thousands of disgruntled viewers ending up flocking to the comments section, slamming the 'hack' and arguing the chicken nugget's batter is the 'best part'.

"You just ruined the whole chicken nugget," one user fumed. Another agreed, commenting: "Don't mess with my chicken NUGGYS. THAT'S NOT EVEN CHICKEN NUGGYS ANYMORE.

" A third added: "I hope both sides of your pillow are warm," while a fourth wrote: "My anger issues have been shown today after watching this video." Others were less heated in the comments, arguing that their little sibling or friend used to use a similar technique when eating their nuggs. "I do this except I just bite it off and eat the skin as I go then I eat the chicken," one person wrote.

Another agreed, adding: "I always peel the breading off and eat it then dip the chicken in sauce. Everyone [in the restaurant] looks at me like a weirdo," while a third penned: "I've been doing this since I was four years old. My mum [would] yell at me saying I'm wasting food.
