Woman sexually assaulted in Plymouth in broad daylight

CCTV images of a man police would like to speak to in relation to a have been released. Police are investigating the reported attack and would like to identify the man pictured as it is thought he may be able to assist with their enquiries. A woman was reportedly sexually assaulted by a man on Notte Street in the city centre.

The incident took place in broad daylight at around 5pm on Thursday, September 19. Officers from would like to identify and speak to the man pictured as they believe he may be able to assist their investigation. He is pictured wearing a black hat, a black long sleeved shirt with a yellow logo on the chest, grey shorts and white and dark coloured trainers.

A statement from Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police investigating a report of a sexual assault on a woman have released pictures of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident. "The incident is reported to have happened at around 5pm on Thursday 19 September on Notte Street, Plymouth.

Investigating officers would like to identify the man pictured as they believe he may be able to assist with their enquiries. "We are aware that the quality of the image is low, however at this time this is the only image we have and hope that the public may still be able to assist.
