A woman has been left gobsmacked after meeting a set of twins with the 'exact same name ' as each other, making her question their parents ' mindset. She explained how she encountered the twins in her working life - and couldn't believe her ears when she heard them introduce themselves. She said on Reddit: "In my professional life recently I encountered adult twins with the exact same name! Their middle names were different but very similar.

Not their real names, but an example would be: Twin 1: Jane Richelle Doe Twin 2: Jane Rochelle Doe. Absolutely Wild." It made her question why they decided against changing their names in adulthood, believing this would help them carve their own identities outside of each other.

However, it turns out they're not the only twins who have been given the same name, as one social media user commented: "I once saw an announcement for twins: Nicholas Ray and Nicole Rae." In response, the woman mocked their parents, saying they must have a "real lack of creativity". Another user added: "I know a woman named Tammy Raye, named for her father, Tommy Ray.

I thought that was terrible. This is so much worse." One more user said: "Damn.

I wouldn’t even give my kids the same initials, twins or not. Every time you get mail for J. Do you have to guess who it’s for.

in my family we already have issues with L. Last name and I. Last name because they’re so similar, they often accidentally open each others mail.

" Expanding on this, another person added: "My dad, my brother and I all have names that start with the letter P. So when mail comes that's just addressed as P. (Surname) We got to have the "which one of us opens this?" conversation.

" Another added: "My dad's parents decided that their five children's names should all start with the letter 'R'. Once my dad started receiving mail, he gave his name as 'Quentin' so he'd know it was his letter landing on the doormat!".
