A woman has died following a medical incident at a supermarket in Worcestershire. West Midlands Ambulance Service said they were called to a medical incident on Market Street in Bromsgrove at around 2.24pm on Monday (February 17).
Two ambulances and the West Midlands Ambulance Service Critical Care Car were sent to the scene where a woman was found in a critical condition. Crews started administering advanced life support but despite best efforts nothing could be done to save her and she was confirmed dead at the scene. West Mercia Police were also called to the scene around an hour later but confirmed that her death is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to a medical incident at Asda on Market Street in Bromsgrove at 2.24pm on Monday (February 17). "We sent two ambulances and the WMAS Critical Care Car to the scene.
On arrival crews found a woman in a critical condition and immediately began administering advanced life support. "Sadly, despite best efforts, nothing could be done to save her and she was confirmed deceased at the scene." A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "Emergency services were called to the Asda in Bromsgrove yesterday (Monday, February 17) at around 3.
25pm following a medical emergency. "Sadly, a woman died at the scene. "Her death is not being treated as suspicious.
