A woman was arrested in a town centre on suspicion of assaulting a boy. Police were called to the Northgate area of Crawley town centre on Thursday, April 3, at around 3.35pm.
A 24-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assault in relation to a boy known to her. She has since been bailed with strict conditions, pending further investigations. "We ask the public not to speculate about the incident on social media and to refrain from sharing footage of the incident as it will impact the ongoing investigation. "Witnesses and anyone with information such as footage should report it to Sussex Police online, quoting serial 977 of 03/04.".
