A 38-year-old woman faces a drug charge after she walked into the Dededo police precinct Sunday and handed over a small bag containing methamphetamine and a plastic straw, according to a magistrate’s complaint filed in Superior Court.

A 38-year-old woman faces a drug charge after she walked into the Dededo police precinct Sunday and handed over a small bag containing methamphetamine and a plastic straw, according to a magistrate’s complaint filed in Superior Court. Jaytrine Marie Flores, also known as Jaytrine Marie Flores Manglona, was charged Monday with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance as a third-degree felony. At 11:03 a.

m. Sunday, she went into the lobby of the police station and said she found contraband by the front gate of Andersen Air Force Base and she wanted to turn it in, the complaint stated. She produced a small resealable plastic bag, and a police officer asked her how she noticed a small item like that while driving.



“Sorry sir, I just wanted to get rid of it,” she reportedly told the officer. When he asked her if the drugs belonged to her, she said, “Yes, I just wanted to stop,” the complaint stated. The officer placed her under arrest.

Flores, who was released on a $5,000 personal recognizance bond, faces three years in prison if convicted of the charge..
