A woman and her dog have completed a 33-mile walk for charity. Joanna Burdett, 55, alongside her pet Lola, hiked across the South Downs last weekend to raise funds for Headway Sussex, a charity supporting people with brain injuries. Despite the wind and rain, Joanna and Lola, who is a therapy dog for the charity, battled on and raised an impressive £670 despite the fact Lola became injured and needed carrying for a chunk of the walk.
