This follows a similar case involving a 24-year-old woman who took her own life while staying at a paying guest accommodation. NEW DELHI: A 45-year-old woman and her two specially-abled children died by suicide in Adalagere village of Gubbi Taluk in Karnataka , police said on Friday. The woman, identified as Vijayalakshmi, was found dead along with her children in Tumakuru district. Police officials confirmed that a case has been registered, and an investigation is currently under way to determine the cause and sequence of events leading to the tragedy.

A similar case of suicide was registered last month in Karnataka. A 24-year-old woman, who had completed her MBA and was undergoing training at a private firm, took her own life at her paying guest accommodation last month. Aishwarya Galagali, originally from Vijayapura, had relocated to Belagavi for employment and was undergoing a three-month training programme at a company whilst staying at a PG facility in Nehru Nagar.

The PG management contacted the police when Galagali remained unresponsive despite repeated attempts to reach her. Upon forcing entry into her room, authorities discovered her body suspended from the ceiling fan. The APMC police are conducting an investigation into the circumstances by reviewing surveillance footage and analysing the deceased's telephone records.

Initial enquiries reveal that Galagali had made a final telephone call to an individual before her death, and the police are currently working to locate this person..
