Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese established herself as a legitimate All-Star in her first season in the WNBA. However, despite her dominance and consistent double-double performance, her rookie year also highlighted her areas for improvement. Reese's 3-point shooting is particularly a major weakness, with her 2024 season numbers leaving much to be desired.

A recent video posted on her Instagram Story showed her practicing 3-point shots, a sign that Reese is focusing on improving this area of her game during the offseason. That said, even a slight improvement in her performance last season will certainly be a big boost to the Sky. Reese averaged 13.6 points and 13.
1 rebounds per game as the Sky finished with a 13-27 record and missed the playoffs. By developing a 3-pointer, Reese should be able to open more possibilities for the Sky in terms of offense. She could very well be a matchup problem for opponents as well if she starts hitting triples, and that should be a concern for the rest of the WNBA.
