Windsor Lakes has already sold 70 of its 180 lots

Robert Myers, principal of Windsor Lakes, told Guardian Business that instead of building the development in phases, he will be doing it in “one swoop” to finish it. The developer has already sold 70 of the project’s 180 lots, and is planning for a May 2025 completion of the development. “We have all the infrastructure going in.

All the contracts being left for the infrastructure deposits have paid for transformers, and wire, and fiber, and sewer and water. “Water lines are now here. A lot of electrical boxes are here and going in.



Storm drainage is probably around 80 percent installed. The lakes are all in, the roads are all roughed out. The perimeter fencing is in, and so we plan to be finished by April or May next year.

” He added: “We’re not doing it in phases, we are doing it in one shot. It’s expensive to do it in one shot, but the problem is you start doing it in phases and that can cost you a lot of money too, because you have to leave stuff, come back and dig it up and reconnect things. To do it in phases didn’t make sense to me, so I said let’s just go in there and finish it off one time.

” Windsor Lakes has garnered attraction from other developers who wish to develop commercial properties in the vicinity. but Myers believes Windsor Lakes is “changing the face of the southwest by allowing for affordable homes for middle to upper-middle class families.” “The project is well received because there is not a lot of product for single families with a great environment and amenities,” said Myers.

“We’ve got nature trails around the lake, we have tennis courts, we have pickleball, a gym, a community center and dog parks within close access to the beach.” There will also be an air conditioned, solar-powered storage facility opening this month, Myers said..
