Wind Advisory for parts of WNY

BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Wind Advisory has been issued for southern Erie, Wyoming, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Allegany counties for tonight.

Going into effect at 4 PM this afternoon this Wind Advisory is highlighting wind that could gust as high as 35 to 50 mph, especially along the hilltops in the lakeshore areas. Gusty winds will continue into the morning before tapering off during the midmorning hours on Thursday. Loose items can blow around easily with also the possibility of some downed tree limbs.
