William Robert Malloy OBITUARY William Robert Malloy, 79, of Center Valley, passed away October 14, 2024. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late William Edward Robert and Kathryn (Heimbrook) Malloy. William was preceded in passing by his loving wife of 54 years, Margaret “Peggy” Malloy in 2021.

After graduating from Liberty High School, class of 1963, William went on to honorably serve in the US Army during the Vietnam War. After, he went on to work for Bethlehem Steel for 28 years before moving on to Victaulic and finally, Atlantic Crane from which he retired. He was a master electrician in Lehigh and Northampton counties and also the city of Bethlehem.



He and his wife were members of St. Joseph Catholic Church for over 40 years, singing in their choir for over 30 years. William also was a singer in the Lehigh Saengerbund Choir.

He will be lovingly remembered by two sons, David M. (Jennifer) Malloy of Roseto, PA and Brian F. (Margaret) Malloy of Blue Bell, PA; one daughter, Jill C.

(Matthew) Boyer of Bethlehem, PA; six grandchildren, Duncan (Brooke) Malloy of Blackwood, NJ, Autumn (Dennis) Kocher of Pen Argyl, PA, Nicholas, Zachary, and Thomas Malloy of Blue Bell, PA, and Emma Boyer of Bethlehem, PA. Great-granddaughter, Harper Kocher of Pen Argyl, PA; brothers: John H. Malloy of FL and James C.

Malloy of Ambler, PA; and many cousins and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in passing by a brother, Donald E. Malloy.

A viewing will be held Sunday, October 20, 2024 from 6-8PM at Norcross-Weber Funeral Home 101B N. Main St Coopersburg, PA 18036. A second viewing will be held on Monday, October 21, 2024 from 9:30AM until the mass of Christian burial at 10AM both at St.

Joseph’s Catholic Church 5050 St. Joseph’s Rd Coopersburg, PA 18036. Burial with military honors to follow at St.

Joseph Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in William’s name to either Shriners Hospitals for Children, c/o Donor Relations, 2900 N. Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607 or the Wounded Warrior Project P.
