Willard Cheng is joining Korina Sanchez-Roxas and Pinky Webb in Bilyonaryo News Channel’s (BNC) flagship newscast “Agenda.” Willard brings with him 20 years of solid reportorial experience, having covered Malacañang under three presidents, the Senate and House of Representatives, the Commission on Elections, and the Department of Foreign Affairs. He has also reported from different capitals and cities around the world, covering various presidential visits and international summits.

He has broken various important stories, lent his political and research expertise and helped break down complex political and diplomatic stories for the audience. Willard’s comprehensive and in-depth live reporting and anchoring of Pope Francis’ visit to the Philippines in 2015 earned him accolades, having gone beyond event reporting and delivered key insights to viewers about the papacy and the Catholic Church while engaging the audience and capturing the viewers’ interest and emotion. He was twice selected as fellow of the prestigious International Visitor Leadership Program of the United States Department of State.
