Will only drop ineligible BPL card holders: Karnataka CM on ration row

Karnataka's chief minister Siddaramaiah has refuted claims that the state is removing BPL cardholders to fund its guarantee schemes. He clarified that only "ineligible" beneficiaries, including taxpayers and government employees, will be shifted to APL cards. This decision comes as the state grapples with a high number of BPL cardholders, raising concerns about resource allocation.
