Washington Wild Things right-handed relief pitcher Alex Carrillo has had his contract purchased by the New York Mets. Carrillo, who was pitching in the Venezuelan Winter League, was on a one-year deal with the Wild Things in 2024. He’ll be assigned to Triple-A Syracuse.
