But as the actress put on a sultry smoking hot performance with her dance partner Simone Arena, Yasmin told Extra.ie that her super-supportive boyfriend Luke Joyce has no qualms about the so-called ‘Strictly curse.

’ Rising star Yasmin who nabbed the Best Newcomer gong for her role as Nikita Murphy on RTE’s gangland drama Kin told Extra.ie that her real-life bloke, businessman Luke, is her rock of support. ‘He is very, very supportive,’ Yasmin told Extra.



ie ‘He sees me when I come home and I’m all tired. He looks after me,’ she continued. ‘I think he’s excited to actually see me do the show; and, you know, do my best.

’ ‘He’s sitting across from me here now. He’s been very, very supportive. I think he’s just waiting to see all the hard work manifest on screen.

’ Dubliner Yasmin has been dating handsome cleaning entrepreneur Luke for some time now after they were introduced through friends. A graduate of Maynooth University, Luke established his successful subscription-based calling company after he got his degree. But during his time at Maynooth, Luke was already showing promising signs of a bright business future.

In 2019, the savvy sports-mad Luke fended off stiff college competition to be awarded the entrepreneurship student of the year accolade. After college, Luke set himself up as MD of TheCleaningCompany.ie But when he is not managing his team of cleaning experts, Luke is on hand as a sling of support for his driven girlfriend Yasmin.

Ambitious actress Yasmin hit the dancefloor for the first time on Sunday night when, despite admitting having no dance experience whatsoever, she won high praise from the judging panel. Yasmin and Simone danced a fast-paced and feel-good Samba to Oh Na Na by Camila Cabello, Myke Towers and Tainy. After the couples’ first dance floor outing, judge Loraine heaped praise on the pair’s sultry moves saying; ‘You need two ingredients for the Samba – rhythm and bounce.

The hips were ticking! You need to get grounded and get more power.’ Armenian-born dance teacher Arthur Gourolanian was also effusive in his praise, saying: ‘Yasmin in the house! You brought the sass but I want more. You got this baby.

’ But Brian put somewhat of a damper on proceedings remarking : ‘A little bit stiff but the energy, rhythm is there.’.
