John Cena will compete on the grand stage of Wrestlemania for the last time in his career and challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship in the main event of the second night of Wrestlemania 41. The 16-time world champion earned the title match by winning the Elimination Chamber match in March. Cena is a global star and has a huge fan following in India as well.
But the Indian fans with a cable TV connection will not be able to see him compete at Wrestlemania for the last time. Reason? WWE's move to a live streaming platform. WWE's contract with Sony ended on March 31, 2025, and the company has now moved its product to Netflix.
It is a streaming platform. The Indian fans will have to download the app on their phones or smart TVs to enjoy the live action. The audience will have to pay a subscription fee.
All the WWE action, including Raw, Smackdown, NXT and premium live events, has moved to Netflix in India. Wrestlemania 41 matches WWE has announced the matches for both days. The triple-threat match between Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and CM Punk will close Wrestlemania Saturday.
Gunther will defend his World Heavyweight Champion on day 1 while Tifanny Stratoon will also put her title on the line on Saturday. The one-on-one match between AJ Styles and Logan Paul will take place on day 2. The match between Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest is also scheduled for Sunday.
WWE hasn't advertised The Rock for Wrestlemania 41 but he is likely to make an appearance. Cena sold his soul to The Final Boss and turned on Cody at the Elimination Chamber. The Rock made his in-ring return at Wrestlemania 40 and teamed up with Reigns against Rollins and Cody.
