Hollywood’s national treasure Henry Winkler has revealed that he had stopped his daughter Zoe Wrinkler from starring on reality television . Henry made the revelation on Zoe’s podcast What in the Wrinkler?! on Wednesday, explaining he did it for her own good. “Do you remember when I was in the running to be ‘The Bachelorette?'” Zoe recalled to her father on the audio show.

After that Zoe divulged that Henry blocked her from appearing on another popular reality show. Zoe claimed she was asked to be in a series called Quarter Life Crisis alongside Kim Kardashian and Sarah Howard. She disclosed to Henry that VH1 executive producer Matt Hanna had created a sizzle reel with the three unbeknownst to her dad.
“[Hanna] came to the house and you met him outside,” she recalled. “I did,” Henry said, corroborating Zoe’s story. “I said, ‘It is so lovely that you’re here, I can suggest some really good restaurants, [but] my daughter is not doing your show.
'” Although Zoe’s reality television dreams were thwarted by her dad, she admits it worked out how it was supposed to. “I became a teacher, which was the best job and what I always truly wanted to do,” she noted. Henry added that his child was “born” to be a teacher.
“If I were a young parent, at the time that I saw the way you parent and the way you taught, I would have stolen your technique and used it as my go-to,” Henry shared. Zoe jumped the broom with Robert Reinis in 2009, and the couple share three sons. When speaking to her pops on the podcast, she expressed that she was passionate about being a mother and is “obsessed” with her hubby Robert.
Additionally, she mentioned her passion for her nonprofit organization, This is About Humanity. She also noted she is passionate about her nonprofit, and created the organization in 2018 in an effort to “raise awareness for families and kids for families and children who are separated at the United States-Mexico border,” according to Page Six..
