PHILADELPHIA – The Eagles have had to fill several personnel positions in recent years, with executives like Andrew Berry, Ian Cunningham, Brandon Brown, and Catherine Raîche all leaving the team for promotions elsewhere. Assistant General Manager Alec Halaby was positioned to see his name join the others, but his first shot at becoming a general manager did not come to fruition. Halaby was brought in by both the Washington Commanders and the Carolina Panthers for interviews for their open general manager positions, with Halaby being a finalist for the Panthers job.

However, the Panthers decided to hire Dan Morgan and the Commanders hired Adam Peters , meaning Halaby would return to the Eagles. Meeting with reporters Thursday, Halaby said that despite not being hired, he learned important takeaways from the interview process. MORE EAGLES COVERAGE.
